Locked out of iPhone (Forgot lock screen pin/password)

If you have forgotten the Passcode on your iPhone the only way to unlock it is to erase all your data, the only other option is to guess it. Before doing so please check the following:

>If your phone is managed by your company through MDM, please consult the IT team first as there can be policies put in place that can erase your phone if the wrong password is entered more then a couple times 

>There is also a setting in your iPhone under Settings > Face ID and Passcode > "Erase data" ( At the very bottom)  - this setting enables your phone to wipe itself after 10 incorrect passcode attempts. This feature is not turned on automatically.

After you have checked the MDM policies with your IT and know you have not enabled the erase data feature, you can try to guess your password. 

If you cant guess it and you get locked out. Sometimes it will give you the option of "Forgot Passcode" this will erase all data on your phone to factory settings but will let you set it up as new and use it.
